Students have spent this term participating in the annual event, including stage two and three students at Cootamundra Public.
Across NSW, some 153,000 young people from 990 schools were involved.
At Cootamundra Public, Ronnie Connolly and Archi Piffero were the winners of the stage two School Spelling Bee while stage three winners were Scarlett Adams and Velettah Cranston.
These four are now regional finalists and will represent their school at the Regional Finals, to be held at South Wagga Public School on Monday, September 4.
A number of other schools from the region, large and small, will also be represented at the Regional Final.
Successful students from the Regional Final will head to Sydney in November for the state final.
