The 18-year-old male, who was on his provisional two licence, was apprehended by police near Stockinbingal after exceeding the speed limit by over 30kmph.
The incident occurred on Friday, September 15, at approximately 4.20pm.
“The driver was issued a licence suspension notice and handed a ticket for excessive speeding,” said Cootamundra LAC crime manager Scott Wilkinson.
“These offences carry a hefty penalty.”
