The village side have made it two from two after defeating the Shamrock Hotel Leprechauns in the opening round.
After winning the toss, the Renegades elected to pad up but were rolled in their last over for 159, Josh Breust top-scoring for the visitors with 41.
Daniel Perry was the pick of the Stockinbingal bowlers, capturing 2/27 from his 8 overs.
The hosts had to work hard to secure victory, but finished up winners after chasing down the Renegades total in the 35th with three wickets to spare.
It wasn’t easy with Stockinbingal gifting the early wickets of Jacob Sutherland (0), Sam Larsen (4), Geoff Bush (9), Doug Hunt (10), and Daniel Perry (0).
Eventually it was gritty partnership between Jack Caldwell (39 not out) and skipper Sam Annetts, who produced a career-best knock of 56 not out, that steered the home side to victory.
After two round of competition, Stockinbingal and the Young-based Criterion Gunners are the only two undefeated sides.
Bearing in mind with seven sides in the competition, one team has the bye each week.
Next Saturday, Stockinbingal travel to Keith Cullen Oval in Young to take last season’s premiers, the Aussie Hotel Scorchers.
