THIS year marks the seventh End of Year Celebration of Music concert and 20 years of the Cootamundra Band. This concert, Friday, November 24, at 7.30pm, continues to be a fundraiser for our marvellous Arts Centre.

This year there are special guest performers, the Hilltops Choir and the Young Town Band under the musical direction of Rodney Clancy. Rodney travels from Canberra to conduct these groups.

The Hilltops Choir is a newly formed adult community choir who draws its singers from the Hilltops District and beyond, including Cootamundra and Grenfell. If you are over 18 and think you would like to join them, they rehearse on Monday during the school term, from 7.30pm to 9.30pm at the Young Uniting Church Hall.

The Young Town Band has been in existence for just over 140 years, in some form or another. They rehearse at the Young Town Hall on Monday from 6pm to  7.30pm and welcome musicians who can follow written music.

TIckets: adults $20, students $2, supper included.
