CONSIDERING the busy time of the year it is the November 2017 meeting was well attended. The first discussion was centered on the needs of the hospital. The main requirement is a Endostraties irrigation Pump and a C02 Insufflator; plus four wheelchairs. It was unanimously decided to purchase these items at a cost of $12,297.
Discussions were centered on fundraising; the first being the Christmas raffle comprising an adult section of 10 prizes and a children section of 10 prizes. Tickets are being sold outside IGA and will be drawn December 13.
The auxiliary bowls day is on Sunday, November 26. Organised by the Ex-Services Men's Bowling Club and sponsored by South West Credit Union, it is mufti dress, good prizes, with a high tea provided by the auxiliary.
