Fallons Excavations 1

IT was a first class performance by the Globe Touchy Feely when they went up against Fallons Excavations to deem themselves a 9-1 victory in this week’s round of the unisex touch football competition.

The star player all game was Matt Forsyth who scored five of the nine tries for Globe Touchy Feely and was among the action from the start of the game.

Brothers Matt Berkrey (2) and Luke Berkrey (2) worked well together to each score two tries.

Emma Eccleston, Grace Spencer and Liam Duffy all played well for Globe Touchy Feely.

Aaron Loiterton covered impressive ground when he broke through Globe Touchy Feely’s line of defence to score almost under the posts.

Georgia Alexander, Tom Meahan and Jade Campbell all played well.

Family Hotel 7 d Globe All Sorts 3 

STEVEN Willoughby had one of his best games this touch season managing to solely score four his team’s seven tries when the Family Hotel went up against Globe All Sorts on Monday.

Willoughby’s offsider Dan Maher also deserves the accolades in helping his team to win scoring two of his own tries.

Jacinta Pettit, Narelle Piffero and Shona Lawson all played well for Family Hotel.

Andrew Bucknell, Jay Bone and Janine Lee had reason to smile after they each scored on Monday keeping the Globe All Sorts in the game.

Twomeys 4 drew with The Family Jewels 4

THIS week’s game between Twomeys and The Family Jewels was one of the toughest games played in the unisex competition.

It was anyone’s game, with only one point separating the two sides until moments before the final siren when both teams were neck and neck concluding the game with a four all draw.

Grant Boyd who has recently returned to Cootamundra after a stint in Darwin playing rugby league managed to slip through Twomeys defence to score.

Grant Miller was among the men to watch out for The Family Jewels scoring on two occasions. Haydn Cowled also scored for The Family Jewels.

Ryan Miller (2), Dylan McDermott and Alex Jones all scored for Twomeys.

B Grade

Country Clubbers 7 drew with 

Make a Break 7

ANOTHER close game was played between Country Clubbers and Make a Break.

Dean O;Loughlin, Nick Ashe (2), Jarrad Patterson and Brad Piffero (3) were the try scorers for Make a Break.

Also playing well were Jess Leak, Georgia Bradbury and Tara Kelly for the Make a Break side.

Only three out of the nine players for Country Clubbers unfortunately missed out on a try opportunity.

Try scorers were Janice Dunk, Tina Graham (2), Brad Lange, Anna Bell, Darryl O’Keefe and James Dunk.

Emily Harris, Megan Gale and John Wallace all played well.

Roberts Bobcats 5 d Central Hotel 

Mixed Grill 2

IT was a case where friends became rivals in last week’s round of the Unisex Toyuch Competition when the Roberts Bobcats and Central Hotel Mixed Grill went head to head.

Roberts Bobcats defeated Central Hotel Mixed Grill 5-2.

Zach Scholtz, Ben darling (2) and Mitch Kemp (2) were the try scorers for Roberts Bobcats while Rohan Bradley and Josh Bradford added a score tally next to their names.

Max Holder and Abbey Watson were named best on the ground for Roberts Bobcats and Katie Collins and Tom Hobbs were among the star players for Mixed Grill.

Globe Gobblers 2 drew with 

Gangnam Stylers 2

NO one could steal the victory thunder for both Globe Gobblers and the Gangnam Stylers who both claimed a 2-all draw on Monday night.

David Browyer opened the score tally for the Globe Gobblers putting the Gobblers in front 1-nil.

Michael Vesperman fought back to score for Gangnam Stylers.

Ben Smith couldn’t resist the temptation to dive for the line placing the Gobblers in the lead 2-1.

The Gobblers lead for a substantial amount of time, however the Stylers were determined to score again, which was made possible by an impressive score by Daniel Wells right on the final siren.

Wells’ try meant the Stylers and Gobblers shook hands on a two all draw.

Hunt and Mctavish 7 d Centrally Nailed 1

IT was a big win for Hunt and McTavish winning 7-1 over Centrally Nailed on Monday evening.

Patrick Cameron is one of the biggest assets the Hunt and McTavish side have ever recruited he was again unstoppable scoring four of his team’s seven tries.

Ryan Connell, Sarge Piffero and Kellyann Connell also scored for Hunt and McTavish.

Mick Palmer was the only player successful enough in getting close enough to the Centrally Nailed try line placing the ball down firmly.

Emma Muller, Kylie Piffero and Adam McPhail all kept the communication strong between the Centrally Nailed side.

C Grade

Athairy Dingoes 4 d Family Hotel Jocks and G-Strings 2

DESPITE having only seven players turn up the Athairy Dingoes danced around their Family Hotel Jocks and G-Strings during round four of the unisex touch football.

Sam Baldock (2), Sean Tiernan and Chloe Ryan were the players to watch out for with their eyes set on their try line.

This determination didn’t let them down each scoring for their team.

Sam Reid and Cody Hotston were the only Jocks and Gs players able to break through Athairy Dingoes line of defence.

Danni Johnson, Michael Hotston, Tahlia Hotston and Jarrod Loiterton were among the key players for Jocks and Gs.

Wattle Town Skip Bins 7 d Moore Clothing 2

WATTLE Town Skip Bins proved they were no match against Moore Clothing on Monday evening winning 7-2.

Jake Turner was the first to cross the line for Wattle Skip Bins, which was followed by a double try from Shaun Parker putting Skip Bins in the lead 3-nil.

Kate Moore with the help of her Moore Clothing team mates slipped a sneaky try in, which placed Moore Clothing in the game for the first time.

Another two tries from Erin Boxsell and Jake Turner put Wattle Skip Bins in front 5-1.

David Moore was the next to score for Moore Clothing.

Followed by Erin Boxsell’s second try for the game, which was followed by an impressive try right on the final siren by Zac Craw meaning Wattle Skip Bins won the game 7-2.
