The girls, including Abbey Sloan, Isabella Carr, Lucy Paterson and Grace Large thoroughly enjoyed the experience dancing two solos each for the entertainment of residents.
The Nursing Home’s Bec White, a former dancer herself, said the residents loved watching the children perform.
“We had about 40 of our 61 residents watching,” Ms White said.
She hopes to make the dance school visit a regular occurrence during the school holidays.
“Most of the residents don’t go too far from the home so if we can bring the community to them we will,” Ms White said.
The performance doubled as good practice for the girls who danced at the Forbes Eisteddfod during the holidays.
The Nursing Home residents are also regular attendees at the matinee performance of Miss Wishart’s end-of-year concert.
