The camouflage wrap on a high-powered Audi TT failed to do its job as police clocked the car travelling at over 160km/h on the Hume Highway near Gundagai on New Year’s Eve.

Police detected the car driving in the right-hand lane while not overtaking and prepared to stop the vehicle but as police approached, the vehicle accelerated up to 163km/h.
Eventually, the vehicle was pulled over at the Dog on the Tuckerbox monument near Gundagai.
The 23-year-old male driver was unable to produce a licence so was charged with not carrying a valid licence as well as speeding.
Police suspended him from driving in NSW for six months.
