A 30-year-old Cootamundra man has been charged with filming a person engaged in a private act without consent.

It is believed the man set up a mobile phone camera in the bedroom of a woman.
Lake Illawarra Local Area Command Police report the incident occurred in an Albion Park home on Tuesday, March 7.
The crime carries with it a maximum penalty of up to two years imprisonment.
The man will now face Port Kembla Local Court on Wednesday, March 22.
