However, this weekend will present a sterner challenge than most when they will face off against the second-placed West Wyalong Redbacks in a top-of-the-table clash.
It will be a case of tries versus tackles as the free-scoring West Wyalong outfit look to claim top spot from Cootamundra, who have thus far boasted an nigh impenetrable tryline.
The Redbacks have been an attacking force so far in 2017, amassing 70 points from their two games.
On the other hand, the Tricollettes have founded their early season success on a water-tight defensive structure that has seen them concede just one try in two outings.
It sets up a scintillating showdown for top spot and Tricollettes captain Robyn Armstrong can’t wait to get underway.
“The girls have been in good form after winning both their opening games,” Armstrong said.
“All players are playing exceptional rugby and I can only see it getting better as the season progresses.”
The Tricollettes will face off against the Redbacks on Saturday afternoon prior to the Tricolours clash with the Weevils.
Both games will be played out at West Wyalong.
