What’s Happened
The Bullettes shot out of the blocks this season with crushing wins over Junee and Tumbarumba. however a 16-all draw with Temora stalled the Cootamundra engine in Round Three.
Ensuing losses to Brothers Wagga and Albury saw the Bullettes dip down the ladder before the side rebooted their season with an emphatic 52-0 win over Tumut.
Since then, the girls have posted consecutive wins over Young and Kangaroos Wagga to muscle their way back into the top four at the halfway mark.
What’s Next?
The Bullettes are firm favourites to feature in finals but must stake their title claims with a big win over South City at Harris Park this weekend.
The ninth-placed Bulls have lacked attacking potency this season and should be easily accounted for ahead of Cootamundra’s crucial Round 11 clash with Gundagai next weekend.
Should the Bullettes win both, it’s feasible the side could front up to second-placed Brothers in Round 15 on an eight-game winning streak.
