Tennis Australia coach Colin Maher, who teaches at the Cootamundra courts as well as others in the South West, said the tournament is a pathway to give primary-aged students a taste of what tennis is all about.
Students from Cootamundra Public, EA Southee and Sacred Heart will be joined by village schools playing in teams of up to eight (four boys and four girls).
A sausage sizzle will also be held on the day for kids.
Winners from all Riverina schools will compete against eachother in Wagga on September 9 with those successful that day going on to the finals in Sydney in October where patron Mr Woodbridge will be present.
