Ms Parker said she enjoys being able to interact with residents each day she is at work.
“I get a lot of joy out of the residents,” she said.
As well as a certificate, Ms Parker was given a badge recognising her service, which she can proudly wear during shifts.
The long service presentation was made in front of her colleagues and residents by facility manager Deirdre McAlister.
The village is an integral part of Cootamundra’s available aged care services and relies on having a strong band of staff members to care for residents.
