Steve Button, 31, has been on the radar of local police services and currently has two outstanding warrants for his arrest.
Cootamundra LAC crime manager Scott Wilkinson said Mr Button was not considered dangerous but is a key person of interest.
“Clearly we would like to locate him and arrest him,” he said.
Police officials said Mr Button was known to frequent the Tumut, Wagga Wagga and Junee Areas.
