They’ll be distributed by the Cootamundra’s Salvation Army volunteers.
Around 60 riders took off from the Family Hotel as the run snaked its way around town.
In her final year as organiser Pat Teale paid tribute to the community who had supported the event this year.
Mrs Teale said it was a great to see more toys this year and “it will mean a lot to children in the district”.
“It was a thrill to see everyone come on their motorbikes, riders bring their children and grandchildren, it’s a family event,” she said.
First started in 2003 the event has become a popular tradition for the second weekend in December.
“It’s all about helping the children, everyone’s entitled to something at Christmas that will put a smile on a child’s face,” Mrs Teale said.
“Christmas is just as much about giving and supporting the community as it is receiving a gift yourself.”
Mrs Teale along with her husband Bill and Ted Smith have been at the core of the event since it was started.
“Motorcyclists came from far and wide including Port Kembla, Wallendbeen, Young, Wagga, Junee Cootamundra and areas all round,” she said.
“I would like to personally thank Bill and Ted for all their help it has been a team effort.”
She said it came about by Salvation Army Captain Tony Tomassio to assist disadvantaged children in Cootamundra and later led to the creation of a Ulysses Club branch.
“A big thank you for everyone in the community who have helped over the years,” Mrs Teale said.
As well as community members she praised Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council staff for helping out with road closures, the Salvation Army’s volunteers as well IGA, Toyworld , Aldi Yass, Wallendbeen Hotel, Woolworths for supplying and manning the barbecue.
"I would love to see the toy run continue to grow with the community’s support,” Mrs Teale said.
