During the school’s annual presentation ceremony, principal Janet Cartwright many successes enjoyed by students was due to the hours invested by teachers.
“None of them would be possible without the dedication of our staff and the willingness to give up time outside the classroom,” Mrs Cartwright said.
“We are most grateful.”
While many students were recognised for their efforts and achievements, Mrs Cartwright praised all the students who worked hard to learn new things during the year.
Mrs Cartwright said many students had studied hard to get the moment where ideas and concepts ‘click’.
“For several years our student growth in NAPLAN has been higher than the state average,” she said.
“Worthwhile learning doesn’t come easy.”
