Our hardworking P&C help support school activities and events through fundraising initiatives such as our annual fete.
Teachers are deeply invested in providing differentiated learning experiences in the classroom to meet the individual needs of students. They are able to engage classes in interesting learning activities that are helping to support students in becoming thoughtful, determined and engaged citizens.
Embedded within the school is a culture of continuous improvement. Students are challenged to take risks with their learning, with staff focused on supporting the development of a growth mindset.

Cootamundra Public School also fosters a diverse range of learning opportunities and experiences in arts, dance, visual arts, public speaking and debating.
Sport is a traditional part of the school culture and an increased focus on sustainability through gardening and bike safety programs has further enriched learning opportunities for students.
Our Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) culture can be seen in all we do, with students encouraged to follow our PBL values of being respectful, responsible learners each day.
This student leadership team of Jack Finch, Abbey Sloan, Will Lubke and Andie McTavish will be working with staff to expand our PBL values by building in the Wirajuri idea of “Yindyamarra Yambuwan” or “Respecting Everything”.
