In strong winds, Wild finished the 48 kilometre course 55 seconds ahead of his nearest rival.
In an all Tolland affair, Dan Addison finished second, ahead of Brodie Pearse in third.
Tolland Cycle Club represented more than half the field and filled eight of the top 10 placings.
Pearse clocked the fastest time in 1:15.37, while Griffith’s Jenny Massey was the first woman across the line.
Wagga cycling legend Barry O’Hagan said the conditions caused havoc.
“A lot of the limits broke up because of the wild conditions,” O’Hagan said.
The next stage is at Cobram on April 7.
