Peter Hoang was victorious against Bondaruk 31-29 in club major singles. Bondaruk was shooting for his third title in a row and a club record. This was a close contest, it took 37 ends to find a winner. Senior singles see three Cootamundra Ex-Services players in the semi finals - White, Bob New and Terry McDonald with the odd one out being Terry Mulligan from Young.
In the reserve singles we are down to three players, all from the Coota Ex-Services, namely Mark (Chook) Armstrong is in final waiting for the arrival of the winner between Terry Smith and Geoff (Bloopy) Manwaring.
Social bowls Wednesday: Jason Jones and Mick Barber outplayed Ginger and Pat O’Brien to grab the chops. Rocky and Dave Harris too good for Wayne Watmore and The Duck winning 23-15. Kevin Medcalf, Graeme Snape and Keith Hampton defeated Oscar Lopez, Rob Hillier and Graham Bushell 19-11. Friday saw 18 players take to the green with Jason Jones, Snape and Geoff Hillier successful against Shayne Fisher, Rocky and Grumpy 28-14. Oscar Lopez, Terry Cosgrove and Froggy 25-15 winner over John Huntington, Rob Hillier and Bushell while Medcalf, Mick Andrews and The Duck were comfortable winners over Nippy, Mick Ryan and White.
