THE pennant scores to date provide for an interesting last round for our Country Club sides in Grades 3 and 6, both grades playing this coming weekend on our Country Club greens.
In order to progress any further in the competition, we need to win both games convincingly!
A Major Pairs Championship game played on Tuesday proved to be an extremely tight game which came down to a last end score of two shots for John Malone and Roy Cleveland over Bernie Stephens and Eric Thorburn, the overall game finishing 19-18 to John and Roy.
In the Minor Singles section Tony Ward and Eddie Jarrott claimed a slender win 15-12 over new bowler Garry James and his partner Geoff Hagan.

Then came Cary Peters, Peter Rasmussen and Shane McKellar who won the last three ends to win their game for 18 points against Kevin Medcalf, Kevin Black and Brett Lange.
