Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Mathieson as the new Environmental Health Officer.

Mr Mathieson will cover food inspections, water sampling, septic tanks, pool inspections, other statutory responsibilities and relevant complaints.
He has worked in a number of local authorities, most recently Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council as Senior Environmental Health Officer (Food Safety).
CGRC mayor Cr Abb McAlister welcomed the appointment.
"I encourage all food premises to take the time to contact Andrew as soon as they think they have a problem or are looking to expand or renovate," Cr McAlister said.
Mr Mathieson said he was excited about his new role.
"I am looking forward to working with local businesses to help them deliver safe food to the public,” he said.
