They’ll be looking to build on a competitive effort in their last game and strike out to get their first win on the board.
Coach Mark Elia said this weekend’s game felt a little like a season re-start thanks to a bye for the Country Championships in April and then another for the first weekend in May.
It’s given the Tricolours two solid weeks off, and Elia is hoping it will mean the team can field another competitive side for the long trip north on Saturday.
Elia said the team’s performance during their last match against Grenfell in Wallendbeen was positive and he hoped the team could build on that.
“It’s nice that we got 30 points against Grenfell, it gives us a bit of confidence,” Elia said.

“I’ve noticed confidence though the whole group [at training].”
Elia said the team’s big challenge would be improving their defence after three games where opposition teams have each scored around 40 points against the Tricolours.
He said an improved defence would be where the Tricolours could give the clearest example that they were on the right track for the season.
The Tricolours aren’t under the impression the weekend’s game will be easy however.
“Condo should be a similar standard to Grenfell, they beat them last week,” he said.
“We’re giving up too many points. We’re looking to keep it simple.”
Elia said while the team had had a positive training session on Tuesday, numbers were being affected by some players still working on tractors sowing crops.
“We’ll be working hard to get a team on the field. We’ll have to stick together and strive for our first win,” he said.
“So much confidence comes from that first win."
Bob Scott and Corey Nicholson have worked as co-captains in previous games and Elia said Nicholson was capable of getting the team organised and motivated as captain.
Unfortunately for the Tricolours they will be without both full back Berkeley Hardie and scrum half Scott due to a wedding. The game starts from 3.15pm at Condobolin Showground.
