At the following monthly meeting, it was decided to hold next month’s meeting a week early, on June 7, due to a clash with the South West meeting.
Tomorrow is Crazy Whist. All welcome, for a 2.30pm start.
EX-SERVICES CLUB: Wednesday morning we had eight members come to play.
A minor singles championship was played between Lesley Clarke and Colleen Goode, with Lynn Fisher marking.
Lesley started well but on the 13th end Colleen rallied and managed to go on to win. Congratulations to both for a well-played match.
On rink six a social triples was played.
Shirley, Lorraine, and Joan versus Matt (a visitor), Rhonda with Freda skipping with Joan's side winning.
Saturday no bowls unfortunately, due to inclement weather.
