Playing at the Pond: Bring your lunch and enjoy a free lunchtime concert from local musician Martin Allen at the fishpond outside the library (12.30pm to 1.30pm). Next concert is Friday, May 18, featuring Martin Allen. Martin has been playing guitar and singing around the region for the past decade.
Author Talk: Join us on Thursday, May 31 at 1.30pm to hear Jeremy Scott’s amazing adventure story. Jeremy will talk about his amazing personal journey from lifesaving open heart surgery as a child, leading to an incredible 51,916 km solo bicycle ride from London to Auckland, New Zealand.
