The South West District was represented by the Cootamundra Ex team of Oscar Lopez, Graham Bushell, Pickles Bradley and Roman Bondaruk, who claimed first place with the Harden club runners-up.
Club championship: Major pairs saw the father and son team of Adam and Bob New recording a close 17-15 win over John Goggin and Peter Hoang. The victors now play Frog Roberts and Mick Willis, with the winners moving into the vacant final spot against Terry McDonald and Jim Deacon.
Social bowls: Wednesday; S Leggett and A Small fell over the line with a 16-15 win against Rocky and Froggy. R Hillier, J. Huntington and G. Dennis, 24-16, winners over R Goode, T Curtis, and G. Hillier, while J Jones, G Snape and K. Hampton recorded a win against O. Lopez, G. Bushell and P O’Brien. Friday saw Rocky, G Bushell and The Duck record an 18-16 win over J. Jones, S Leggett and Pickles, with M Andrews and A Small recording a win over O Lopez and G Snape.
