THE 26th annual autumn flower show was a most successful function especially as the season was a difficult one for gardens. Thanks to members of the public for supporting it, and to Garden Club members for their hard work, especially Don and Marj.

Floral Art has been a particular interest for some of our members for many years, and to keep that interest alive, a self-help group has emerged, to assist each other in developing their skills.
There is not a Garden Club meeting in June, but a winter luncheon on Saturday, June 16.
As winter approaches, thoughts are turning to rose pruning which occupies rose growers in June, July and August. There will also be some seedlings to plant, and chrysanthemums to cut back.
