Aussie Rules was certainly a highlight across the region with North Wagga toppling reigning premiers Marrar 13.12 (90) to 7.1 (43) in an emotional Farrer League clash.
The Riverina League produced some corkers of their own as Griffith ended a seven year drought in Manoplah against MCUE Goannas while Narrandera fell agonisingly short of their maiden win at Turvey Park on Saturday.
Our photographers were all across the weekend’s soccer and grabbed snaps from Cootamundra’s 2-1 win over Junee and the Wanderers’ tough 2-0 loss at Gissing Oval.
Don’t forget to check out all the Wagga Netball action too.
