Racing NSW announced the increase in prizemoney on Wednesday, along with the introduction of The Kosciuszko, a $1.3 million race for country-trained horses only.
Prizemoney levels in metropolitan, provincial and country areas will increase from September 1.
Country TAB races will increase to $22,000 from $20,000.
Country trainers and owners will also benefit from the increase in Highway Handicaps to $75,000 from $60,000.
Metropolitan Saturday races will be worth $125,000 from September 1, while provincial races will increase to $35,000.
Racing NSW also announced they will continue with country showcase meetings. The minimum prizemoney levels for listed and group three races will also increase.
The majority of the increase in prizemoney will be on horses finishing fourth to 10th.
