At the last meeting of Wallendbeen CWA members were privileged to have students from Wallendbeen Public School to speak about the posters they have completed for CWA Country of study, Poland. The infants children made red poppies, the floral emblem of Poland.

Funds raised through our street stalls were distributed, to many organisations. The CWA of NSW Association Fund, Hume Group and Medical Research, The Royal Flying Dr Association, Cootamundra RDA and the Cootamundra Nursing Home. Wallendbeen Police Station received $250, towards the purchase of a defribulator for the station.
Plans were also made for the August Council meeting to be held in Junee on August 15 at 10am. Some members have also been busy making knitted poppies for Remembrance Day.
The next meeting will be held in the Wallendbeen Memorial Hall on Tuesday, August 14 at 2pm.
