Dogs can enjoy puppacinos and pupcakes at the Barkery, walk around the track and enter fun contests including best dressed, look alike dogs and owners, best tricks, waggliest tail and others.
There will be refreshments for owners too with a barbecue, coffee van, plant stall and other attractions.
The event takes place rain or shine – in the event of rain, come prepared with an umbrella, wear old shoes and have a good time! If you don’t have a dog, come for the day out anyway!
Attendees are encouraged to bring donations for Best Friends Pet Rescue such as leads, collars, brushes, bedding and food. Pets for adoption will also be in attendance.
"Owners are responsible for their dog which must be on a leash (not extendable) and have current vaccinations," said Greg Holt, Vice President of Cootamundra High School P&C.
"To ensure the safety of pets and owners, aggressive dogs will not be welcome at the event," he said.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for seniors and under 16yo and $20 for families.
They are available from Cootamundra High School, Cootamundra Veterinary Clinic, Cooper St Veterinary Hospital, Mitre 10 and The Loft.
