Christine Anu, a multi-ARIA Award winner singer and regular on stage and screen over several decades, performed songs including My Island Home, Sunshine on a Rainy Day and Party.
She was joined on stage by Raymund Shek on back-up vocals and guitar.
Anu also shared stories about her Torres Strait Islander culture and language and entertained the audience through dance and body percussion.
Students from Cootamundra High School, Cootamundra Public School, EA Southee Public School, Eurongilly Public School, Illabo Public School, Jugiong Public School, Marrar Public School and Murrumburrah Public School attended the concert.
NAIDOC Week is held each year to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Straiut Islander people.
