Intereach Cootamundra Community Hub will be hosting a free morning tea in support of R U OK Day on Thursday, September 13 from 10am till 11.30am.
RU OK Day is a national day of action dedicated to encouraging everyone to connect with the people they care about and start a conversation if they’re worried about someone.
A simple way to connect with someone is over a cuppa. Which is why Intereach is inviting local people to mark the day by joining us at the Hub for a cuppa and a chat. The event is free and a yummy morning tea will be provided. Everyone is very welcome.
Even if you can’t join us, taking part can be as simple as asking your friends, family and colleagues, “are you ok?” By starting that conversation, you could help that family member, friend or workmate open up. If they say they are not ok that person will know you’re someone who cares. For tips go to: www.ruok.org.au
