THE Muttama Creek Regeneration Group was formed in 2003 and since then much has been done to improve the health of the creek which runs through Cootamundra. The water eventually finds its way into the Murrumbidgee River.

Over the years we have had consultants for advice, with grants received, and work carried out by our local council. Volunteers have planted a large number of trees and shrubs and the local Men’s Shed have constructed our bird structures. It is an ongoing work in progress and the group thanks all who helped.
The recent death of past chairman Pat Caskie has been a significant loss. Pat, with husband Jim, contributed much to the group and she is missed by all.
