The Blues field men’s and women’s sides in AFL Canberra Division three.
Although the Blues held their best and fairest count two weeks ago, where Jimmy Finucane won the men’s best and fairest, and Sally Ormond was a popular winner of women’s best player, many other awards are still to be presented including Rookie of the Year, Footballer with the Most Potential and the coaches award.
While footballers ply their craft on the football field, the people who keep the club ticking along during the season will be recognised with the presentation of the Club Person of the Year and Junior Club Person of the Year.
Saturday night’s presentation will commence at 6.30pm.
AFL Canberra grand finals will be held at Football Park in Woden on Saturday. In the women’s grand final, Riverina Lions play ANU.
In Division four, Yass plays the Southern Cats; Yass will be looking for back-to-back flags after beating Cootamundra last year.
Meanwhile, the Southern Cats, formerly the Cooma Cats, are appearing in their first grand final since 1984.
In Division three, the two top teams square off with Molonglo Juggernauts playing Batemans Bay Seahawks.
