The September meeting of the organisation began with a minute's silence to remember Dorothy Fuller and her great contribution to garden club over many years.

Following in the agenda new members John and Jan Shepherd were welcomed to the club.
Thanks were then given to John and Kay Terry for the use of their vehicle and trailer to enable the garden club to participate in the Wattle Time Parade with many members contributing to the spectacular float.
The Floral Art group continues to meet and share skills, and the next meeting will be on October 25 to discuss flower show entries.
The meeting ended with Chris Jones giving an interesting talk on the LiveLife mobile personal alarm.
