As funds are low at present until the Christmas Fair at Wallendbeen on December 1 – one member has written a cheque for $1000 and with another $200 held by the branch, it was decided to forward this amount immediately to the Dubbo office where this money can be distributed.
Elizabeth Bassingthwaite reported on conditions observed on a recent trip to Bourke, Louth and Queensland. No grass, bare ground and animals suffering.
