Dave and Jo Harris presented a cheque for $500 to Can Assist Treasurer, Colleen Flynn on Wednesday.
Demonstrating their community spirit, Dave and Jo support many sporting, school and other groups in town. In this case, their recycling of car and truck batteries has brought proceeds they wish to pass on to Can Assist.
This organisation can then pass on the benefits of such donations to cancer victims in the Cootamundra area.
