The market consisted of 1180 lambs, 834 hoggets and mutton sheep.
With 8mm of rain prior to the sale, and 10mm falling during the sale, along with the forecasted rain and harvest in progress, is a part of the reason for the low numbers
The quality of the market overall, was similar to the previous sale, with only a few lead pens of lambs and mutton, and larger runs of store lambs and lighter mutton.
Once again a number of major processors were not operating, although the market was quoted by agents to be fully firm to slightly dearer in places for lambs with the mutton market, at times erratic, although slightly dearer on some of the medium weight mutton, which again was sought after by the processes and these were up to $5 -$10 better than the previous sale
With the rain falling there was some good interest on lambs returning to the paddock.
Top price of the day went to Russell Gregory of Quandialla with a pen of XB lambs making $170.
With an estimated CW of 24kg and wearing a small $3 coat, they came back at $6.70kg CW and went to Quality Meats Temora.
Most 3 to 4 score lambs were in the $6.10 to $ 6.80kg CW. Top price for mutton was a pen of heavy ewes making $138.
With an estimated CW of 27kg and a $10 coat they came back at $4.30kg CW.
