Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council is once again calling for residents and community organisations to nominate people within the region for the annual Australia Day Awards.
Nominations are now open and will be accepted until the December 17.

The Australia Day awards provide the opportunity for recognition of the residents who enrich the area through community service and outstanding achievement.
Achievements can be a single achievement in the last year or numerous achievements over many years.
There are categories for citizen of the year, junior citizen of the year and sportsperson of the year.
Nomination forms are available from the administration centre in Cootamundra or the council chambers in Gundagai, or from www.cgrc.nsw.gov.au.
