Propaganda gone too far
Recently I arrived home to find a Labor Party rep flyer inside my house. Even though my home was not locked, what is wrong with the letter box outside? Even the postie on his/her Honda 90 finds it alright. I was taught to never enter any one else’s home without taking your dirty boots off first, even then only if you were invited. It has taken me 73 years of blood, sweat and tears to finally get a home of my own, of which I am now very proud.

As far as the political side of things, I think that there are two alternatives. On the far right we have the born to rule mentality. On the left, I still remember “goughy baby” when he told us “you never had it so good”. I wonder how he would go in today's roaring drought.
Finally will we ever get a politician, male or female, driving straight down the road scattering all the bull dust to both sides?

As the day of the NSW election approaches we are being treated to receiving political mail in our letter boxes. However, over a beer yesterday, a friend of mine pointed out a small, but significant, difference between the literature being issued by the Nationals and by the ALP candidate in the seat of Cootamundra.
The difference between the literature is that the Nationals candidate's was printed in Cootamundra while the ALP's was printed in Revesby. Allowing for contractual arrangements and/or cost savings that the ALP may gain by centralising its printing requirements, printing a leaflet in Sydney whilst trying to win the seat of Cootamundra is not a good look.
On the subject of the NSW election, I note that the LNP coalition appears to be in panic mode and is promising billions of dollars of spending in order to remain in government. However, strangely, I cannot find anywhere where the electorate of Cootamundra has been promised any of this 'pork barrelling'.
Perhaps Cootamundra Electorate voters should voice their concern and make the seat marginal. Being a marginal seat could result in us getting a new football stadium we don't really need or spending on a new hospital which we do need.
