Cootamundra's under 16s team, the Kookaburras, finished the season in second spot and will play Temora in the final at Nixon Park.
The Temora side finished the season as minor premiers.
Well done to the Cootamundra Kookaburras, who have enjoyed a successful season.
Saturday’s match is the team's first final in this competition, which is now in its third season.
The under 16 competition had five teams.
Joining Temora and Cootamundra were Ariah Park, Boorowa and Young.
UNDER 13s
The Cootamundra Under 13s, known as the Cobras, competed in the South West Slopes competition for the first time this season.
They finished second on the ladder and last Saturday, they defeated the Temora Bushrangers by 50 runs in the semi-final to advance to the grand final.
On Saturday, they host Boorowa in the final at Albert Park commencing at 8.30am. At the conclusion of the grand final, the presentation of trophies will be made.
In all, eight teams contested the Under 13 competition.
It is interesting to note that across both senior and junior cricket, Cootamundra had a team in the final of the four competitions, with the exception of the Dunk Insurance Cup where Stockinbingal bowed out in the preliminary final.
With the Come Alive Fitness Crusaders having already won the Delta Agribusiness Cup last Saturday, could the juniors add more silverware to the cabinet?
