Grade 4 side took on Cootamundra Ex-Services Grade 4 and recorded a (9-1) victory.
D. Manwaring, G. Davidson, R. Smith and R. Rosengreen defeated G. Hillier`s team (30-15), (2) K. Medcalf, G. Worboys, D. Harris, and M. Barber defeated J. Deacon`s team (30-16) and (3) R. Crowe, W. Manwaring, R. Anderson and B. Lange lost their game (16- 17) against J. Goggin`s team.
Grade 6 travelled to YO of the hard-fought UNG B.C. and also had a (9-1) win.
E. Jarrott, E. Thorburn, P. Rasmussen and J. Malone defeated K. Briant`s team (27-18), (2) G. Hagan, C. Willis, A.E. Ward and K. Breasley defeated J. Hennock`s team (27-19) and (3) D. O`Brien, S. Wilkinson, D. Guthrie and R. Cleveland lost (22-26) to T. Mulligan`s team.
Another major singles game has been played and John Malone advances to the next round as a result of the hard-fought battle with Charlie Willis that took 34 ends of play before John could claim his (31-21) victory.
Friday`s play saw G. Hagan, D. O`Brien and D. Manwaring take the trophies with their 17-shot win over W. Ledger, R. Cleveland and P. Rasmussen while E. Jarrott, K. Medcalf and K. Breasley had a 11-shot margin over R. Williams, C. Willis and J. Malone and G. Davidson and K. Ryan had a four-shot win over G. Cassidy and R. Johnson.
Tuesday the one game of triples saw G. Botrall, A. Ward, and R. Johnson out-bowled by K. Medcalf, J. Jones and C. Jordan (29-11)
This Sunday at home our unchanged Grade 4 side takes on Young B. Club`s Grade 3 side and Grade 6 meets Cootamundra Ex-Service`s Grade 6 side.
