French incorporated light, sound, projection, props and dance to express her experience growing up playing on the Murrumbidgee River and the effect leaving the river had on her psyche. "Evocative", "moving" and "emotional" was some of the glowing feedback received from audience members.
Some Coota and Harden thespians are preparing to take to the stage this week and next for Voice, Drama and Mystery, a performance which will incorporate two one-act plays with Isabel Scott as the director. Bang You're Dead by Paul Reakes and Agent of Change by John Bishop, will be brought to life by Ros Burge, Alan East, Eric Steinke, Michelle Anderson, Jo Fenney, Dianna Campbell and Bryce Fenney. TACC is also excited to be presenting play The Hall Committee, written and directed by Damian Callinan, writer of the movie The Merger. This is a special performance produced by the Wagga Wagga Civic Theatre but only performed in small regional venues.
