A Stockinbingal man appeared in Cootamundra Local Court last week, charged with stealing sheep in January.

A Stockinbingal man, Jack Micheal Purtell, 22, appeared in Cootamundra Court last week charged on three counts relating to stealing sheep. Police alleged Mr Purtell stole two composite Kelso stud ewe lambs from the property of Douglas James Caldwell on 7 January. He was also charged with committing an act of cruelty upon an animal, and failing to comply with mandatory measures.
