Debuting in 2008, the talented footballer is now in his 13th season and has been a consistent footballer for well over a decade.
Pearson's best season was in 2010, while Blues finished out the finals in fifth spot, Pearson came third in the best and fairest.
A highlight for Pearson in 2013 was being named at full back in the Blues team of the decade (2004-2013).
In 2014 he was a very proud a member of Blues premiership side that defeated Yass in the grand final.
In a team chock full of talent, Pearson was well pleased to finish fifth in the Blues best and fairest.
Two players that finished ahead were league best and fairest Luke Webb in 2014 and Dylan McDermott in 2013.
In 2015 he was named best on ground playing for AFL Canberra Division four and Regional Grade against the Sapphire Coast.
In playing 150 matches for the Blues, Pearson joins Stephen Chant and Mick Knagge as the only three players to chalk 150 matches since the Blues joined AFL Canberra competition in 2004.
Pearson revels in playing down back.
A strong mark and ability to break through tackles and with his long racking kicks, he is able to quickly drive the Blues into attack.
Records will show while possibly close to 1000 players have played for Cootamundra since 1960, however only 30 have gone onto play 150 matches, so Pearson is in very elite company.
Pearson is a dedicated footballer for the Blues who in recent seasons has juggled shift work on the railway with Pacific National as an engine driver and on more than a few occasions has come straight from work to play footy.
He has been a part of the leadership for the past five years and with departure of Chant, Pearson and Knagge are the most senior footballers in the Blues line-up.
