The Wagga side scored faster than a point-a-minute in the first half of the clash against Cootamundra at Equex Centre on Sunday before running out 58-12 winners.
With only a draw against Kangaroos to their credit from the first five rounds of the season, halfback Cameron Breust hopes the big win over the still winless Bulldogs can launch their season.
"We spoke about it all week that we needed to turn the season around and start playing for each other," Breust said.
"Hopefully we can go back-to-back and start our season how we should have to start the year."
Dylan McLachlan was outstanding for Brothers.
He crossed for a hat-trick in the win with his running game causing plenty of headaches.
After an injury plagued start, Breust believes combinations are starting to build.
"Dyl was brilliant and his running game just tore them apart," he said. "He got our players' player was miles above anyone else."
However McLachlan and Breust both didn't finish off the game but are hoping to be fit for the clash with Temora on Sunday.
Brothers have already lost Nick Hay (knee), Jackson Newling (knee) and Liam Carey (cheekbone) for long periods.
It will be a big game for both sides who are just outside the top five.
Temora are one point off Junee while Brothers are a win further back while Cootamundra tackle fourth-placed Albury.
