Of those, 1817 gave their first preference to The Nationals' Michael McCormack, with 153 going to The Greens' Michael Bayles, 973 to Labor's Mark Jeffreson and 268 to United Australia Party's Richard Foley.
There were 112 informal votes.
On election day, 1023 votes were cast at the Cootamundra polling centre. Of these, 490 were for Mr McCormack, 52 for Mr Bayles, 307 for Mr Jeffreson and 106 for Mr Foley, with 68 informal.
In all, 114 people cast their vote at Wallendbeen.
Of these, 61 were for Mr McCormack, four for Mr Bayles, 34 for Mr Jeffreson and 12 for Mr Foley, with three informal.
A total of 187 votes were cast at Stockinbingal, with seven of these ruled informal.
Mr McCormack received 124 votes, with four for Mr Bayles, 36 for Mr Jeffreson and 17 for Mr Foley.
