Batlow won with a convincing margin and we wish them well in the state finals.
There was only words of commendation for the event that involved feeding contestants without the use of our kitchen.
Just one game of major singles, which found Ron Rosengreen playing a class above his opponent, Dennis O`Brien, reaching the required 31 after just 21 ends of play.
Friday saw A Ward and C Willis unable to prevent W Rush and W Chater from winning the chooks with their 14-shot winning margin. E Jarrott, D O`Brien, and R Cleveland won their game with G Hagan, W Ledger, and K. Medcalf by just two. A second win by just two shots was recorded by E Jarrott, D O`Brien, and R Cleveland against G Hagan, W Ledger, and K Medcalf. The jackpot is still intact.
Tuesday we welcomed a number of visitors and one of them was I Wybrow who played with S Wilkinson and earned 16.5 points against K Medcalf and B Lange. A second 16.5 score went to A Ward, D Guthrie and C Willis against G Hagan, E Jarrott and B Gibson. P Cockram and R Johnson managed 19 points when they beat C Peters and GWorboys and then the winner's card appeared, A Cooper and E Thorburn had a magic game against K Badcock and J Malone and scored 21 points and thus the meat trays.
