A three-week road trip, encompassing travel to Murrumbateman, Queanbeyan and Goulburn, has seen the boys clock just over 1000km.
After solid wins in the opening four rounds, the Blues will relish the opportunity to play at home for the first time since the opening round against Belconnen on April 27.
Last Saturday against Goulburn Swans, the Blues had the luxury of having eight players from the 2014 premiership side. They were Joel Pearson, Dylan McDermott, Liam Frilay, Luke Webb, Sandy Maskell Knight, Jonny England, Chris Drum and Phil Bird.
Coupled with youth of Sam Larsen, Jack Caldwell and Nick Holt, this has enabled Blues coach Luke Webb to mould the Blues into strong unit.
Therefore, what do we expect from Yass who have been the Blues archrivals for nearly a decade?
While they were runners up in division four last season, they have had a number of changes to their side, which has impacted their performances this season.
So far this season, they lost to Southern Cats in Cooma by 15, then lost to Goulburn by 62. They broke through for their first in round three defeating Murrumbateman by 26 and last Saturday they lost to Belconnen by 45.
- Ladder: Cootamundra 16, Goulburn 12, Southern Cats, Yass 4, Belconnen 4 and Murrumbateman 0.

MEANWHILE, the Blues girls look forward to hosting the Eastlake Demons.
The girls started the season well with excellent wins over Belconnen and Tuggeranong, however, due being very short on playing numbers, they found Queanbeyan and the Riverina Lions far too strong.
Our girls should fancy themselves against the Demons who are one and three and sit in fifth spot below the Blues.
- Ladder: Riverina Lions 16, Queanbeyan 12, Belconnen 8, Cootamundra 8 Eastlake 4 and Tuggeranong 0.
The girls commence proceedings on Saturday at noon, while men play at 2pm.
