The parade will be held on on June 22 with tickets on sale now at $15 per person ($5 for under 16s), available from at the club.
The beautiful gowns were originally worn down the aisle by local women and will now be showcased on the runway by local models.
One dress from the 1940s was constructed by the original wearer using material vouchers collected by women all over town during the depression.
The parade is a must for anyone wanting a fun night out and the opportunity to take in some inspired vintage fashion choices, all while supporting a great cause.
The Southern Cross Care Auxiliary raises funds for staff and residents at the Retirement Village to have the 'little extras' which go a long way to making life better/easier.
Auxiliary member Cheryl O'Brien is excited by the upcoming fundraiser and extends her thanks to those who have donated their dresses to be worn and the models who will wear them.
